Technical Operations/Maintenance
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.
Job overview and responsibilities
This position is responsible for planning scheduled and non-scheduled heavy maintenance program in MRO environment. Responsible for forecasting the aircraft turnaround time from routine and non-routine maintenance perspective when heavy maintenance is being performed. Interacting with different work groups, production, engineering, Inspection, Inventory Planning and Supply chain, this position is key to ensure the heavy maintenance execution plan will meet the overall strategy to ensure the aircraft down time is maintained within the stablished TAT.
- Responsible for scheduled and non-scheduled aircraft maintenance planning and controlling requirements in MRO activity and for identifying best outcomes by involving production, engineering, supply chain and Inventory Planning in an optimal strategy to ensure the aircraft´s maintenance program will be mapped and monitored from timeline execution perspective
- Determine resources and task scheduling, Identifying, reporting, and proposing resolutions for production plan variances
- Responsible to assist the maintenance production manager to identify needs that may impact the aircraft down time
- Required to work with other teams to capture relevant data to support fleet maintenance planning and execution
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills using KPI metrics for best planning and execution

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Unless subject to a collective bargaining agreement in the country to which an employee is being transferred; the employee retains their original date of employment and company seniority in the new country. Upon transfer, the employee is removed from payroll and benefits in former country and appropriately placed in the salary range and payroll / benefits systems of the new country.
Human Resources will assist with the terms and conditions of employment in light of labor agreements, collective agreements, country work rules and labor laws. In the new country, the employee is reinstated using the same employee id, date of employment and company seniority dates.
