The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Hazardous Waste Compliance Specialist to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world class Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team located in either Renton, WA or Tukwila, WA.
As an environmental compliance focal, the selected candidate will work with the Environmental Management team across multiple environmental subject areas, primarily hazardous waste and supports conservation/sustainability initiatives in addition to regulatory compliance. The position will involve some local travel as the team supports several sites in the Puget Sound.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports the development, implementation and monitoring of environmental management systems, processes and programs
Works with others to assess the impact of emerging environmental issues, legislation and regulations on company operations
Supports site interface with relevant regulatory agencies
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
1+ years of experience with environmental compliance, environmental program management
1+ years of experience in areas of air quality, stormwater, hazardous waste, industrial wastewater, spill prevention, storage tanks, environmental sampling, data analysis, and/or environmental reporting
1+ years of experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, geology, or environmental management
Experience with environmental compliance and regulations

Summary pay range: $78,200 - $105,800
