You have an opportunity to join the Circuit Card Manufacturing (CCM) Factory as the Continuous Improvement Specialist. The Specialist is responsible for leading projects which optimize cost, quality, and schedule requirements of the Circuit Card Manufacturing area. Current projects which require support include, but are not limited to, Visual Factory implementation, infrastructure facility planning, process flow optimization, and driving tiered communication across functions to ensure effective collaboration and communication to meet the needs of the business.
The Specialist will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement projects through collaboration with manufacturing engineering, test engineering, quality engineering, and operations, while utilizing CORE principles. The Specialist will report directly to the New Products and Infrastructure Lead and will have the opportunity to participate in key leadership engagements to support the requirements of this role. As a member of the CCM team, you will be a key member of a dynamic team responsible for delivering aerospace & defense circuit card assemblies to our customers across the globe.
What You Will Do
- Manage key areas of performance such as Macro Plans, Market Feedback Analysis and Lean Obeya Room (War Room) deployment & sustainment.
- Complete implementation of Visual Factory tools across the CCM footprint.
- Drive area re-layouts to best support the current product portfolio.
- Maintain on time finishes of New Product builds, to achieve commitments to internal customer needs.
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement thru CORE principles and connecting all employees with experiences to make our business more robust.
- Work closely with individuals and teams throughout the Manufacturing team to lead problem solving and continuous improvement projects.
- Oversee competency development (including CORE proficiency advancement), serve as Implementation Lead for CCM initiatives, and support the manufacturing team in driving continuous improvement projects aligned with enterprise priorities developed through the Circuit Card Manufacturing Leadership team.
- Perform Lead Facilitator role duties during CORE Leadership Week events
- Assist across the portfolio to ensure collaboration.
- Minimal, infrequent travel may be required as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 2 years’ experience of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree.
- Experience in Project/Program management and/or continuous improvement.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
LI-ONSITE
The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
