The Boeing Company is seeking two Mid-Level Occupational Health and Safety Specialists to join the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Team in support of the 777 program in Everett, WA. This position is encouraged to apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify mitigations to existing and future EHS risks in the production system. As part of the EHS team you will support health and safety initiatives, projects, and compliance for the airplane programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Plans, implements, and assesses occupational health and safety programs and processes to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Works with management to facilitate risk management decisions
Plans and conducts health and safety audits
Develops corrective action plans to respond to internal/external audits and inspections
Drafts health and safety programs that provide consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance
Investigates safety and health incidents and complaints
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
3 years of experience working in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)
3 years of experience assessing and evaluating risk
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher in a safety-related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio-Engineering, Public Health, etc.)
Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years of experience managing projects

Summary pay range: $95,200 – $128,800
