Job PurposeA Maintenance Quality Assurance Records Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of aircraft records, which are essential for maintaining the safety and airworthiness of aircraft. This role involves meticulous record keeping, data entry, and documentation management related to aircraft maintenance and inspections. Education & Work Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Must have a minimum of 3 years of recent work-related experience required (Aircraft records, maintenancetracking, or tracking of similar critical processes)
* Must be knowledgeable of FAA regulations, Operations manual, and Aircraft Maintenance procedures Other Skills
* Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Must have strong documentation skills
* Must have strong technical skills
* Must have strong data entry and computer-based tracking systems skills (e.g., Ramco, CMTS)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to interpret technical data.
* Organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs or more (with assistance). Job Duties
* Maintaining and updating aircraft logbooks, engine logbooks, component records, and airworthiness directives
* Ensuring that all maintenance records, inspections, and repairs adhere to FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company policies.
* Entering maintenance data into computer-based tracking systems and managing life-limited parts
* Auditing aircraft and engine hard cards to ensure proper entries and performing quality checks on inspection tools and equipment calibration
* Maintaining and updating FAA form 337s, AD and ASB listings, and other quality information resources
* Communicating record errors to relevant personnel for correction and assisting with technical data collection and distribution
* Understanding and applying knowledge of FAA regulations, the Operations Manual, Minimum Equipment Lists, and other relevant procedures
* Participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality management programs
