DescriptionThe role of the RAP Specialist is to facilitate the Reasonable Accommodation Program (RAP); an interactive process which involves local management, the HR Partner and the Employee Service Center working together with the employee to identify reasonable accommodation options. The RAP Specialist handles the processing of requests/documents, update of employee records and delivery of hassle-free service to employees while ensuring compliance with United policy, all state/local laws, ADA and federal regulations.
- Policies and Procedures: Contribute research and data to improve policies and programs.
- Centralized Customer Support: Provide accurate and timely communication regarding policies and programs.
- Tool Navigation and Efficiency: Focus on reporting and quality control of tools.
- Compliance: Investigate and report program violations.
- Vendor Management: Address escalated issues and propose improvements.
Qualifications2+ years of demonstrable experience including Employee Relations, Accommodations, Leave of Absence and/or Case Management experience in the disability/worker’s compensation/FMLA counseling area.

The base pay range for this role is $60,040.00 to $81,840.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
