Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified UH-60 Avionics Technician to join our clients aviation maintenance team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will bring extensive military aviation experience, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, multicultural environment. This position will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting the avionics systems of the UH-60 Black Hawk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on UH-60 avionics systems including flight instruments, navigation, communication, and mission systems.
- Utilize wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and schematics to troubleshoot and correct system faults.
- Conduct system tests and post-maintenance operational checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate and timely maintenance documentation and records.
- Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in line with military and aviation industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, flight crew, and maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft readiness.
Minimum Requirements:
- 6 Years Aircraft Avionic or Electrician experience in Aviation Maintenance.
- 3 years of Electrical Repair experience on UH-60.
- Licensed and Type Rated on UH-60.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) License and/or Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license or industry equivalent.
- Thorough knowledge in the use of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in performing maintenance on aircraft.
