We are looking for a dynamic and digitally adept Business Analyst to drive the digital transformation journey of our Engineering Department (IndiGo Airlines Engineering). You will work at the intersection of business and technology to modernize engineering workflows including the Engineering ERP system - AMOS, improve decision-making through data, and deliver scalable digital solutions that align with our growth and operational goals.This role is critical to enhancing our engineering systems, mobile enablement, predictive maintenance capabilities, and overall digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
•Work closely with our engineering team to identify digitalization opportunities across Line maintenance, base Maintenance, planning, execution, reliability, inventory, and technical records.•Analyze current engineering processes, systems (e.g., M&E platforms), and pain points; recommend digital improvements and automation strategies.•Translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for digital tools and platforms.•Enhance the adoption of engineering ERP system - AMOS and support the integrations with mobile apps, IoT devices, analytics dashboards, and cloud-based platforms.•Drive cross-functional workshops, stakeholder interviews, and data mapping exercises to define optimal digital workflows.•Collaborate with software vendors, solution architects, and developers to design and test solutions.•Facilitate change management, user training, and communication to ensure adoption of new digital tools.•Define and track performance KPIs, cost savings, and efficiency improvements from digital initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field. MBA or industry certifications are a plus.•8 to 15 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in airline or aviation engineering or MRO environments.•Strong understanding of low-cost airline operations and the role of engineering in a high-efficiency model.•Hands-on experience with digital transformation or large-scale IT implementation projects.•Strong understanding of aviation engineering ERP systems such as AMOS, TRAX, Ramco, or other M&E/MRO tools.•Sound knowledge of digital technologies: mobile apps, data analytics, APIs, cloud solutions, workflow automation.•Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.•Experience working in Agile environments and tools like JIRA or Confluence is desirable.
