The Boeing Company is looking for Mission Systems Software Engineers (Associate, Experienced and Senior) to join the Phantom Works team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

This position encompasses all phases of software development including requirements definition, design, coding, testing and deployment. Collaboration with end-users and teamwork with other engineering disciplines are critical to achieving first-time quality in our dynamic software development environment.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Software Engineers. We are seeking talented, motivated, and creative software developers that will experience the entire software lifecycle from working with customers establishing requirements to product deployment in customer systems. Our small team provides opportunity to quickly develop engineering skills with potential for growth into leadership positions.
Position Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial design of software products
Develop, maintain, enhance and optimize software products and functionalities for systems integrations
Develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products
Develop and execute software verification plans and test procedures to ensure software system requirements are satisfied
Develop software models and simulations to support software verification and demonstration
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Berkeley, MO.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
2+ years of experience programming in C, C++, or C (or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience)
2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, physics, mathematics, or computer science
Knowledge of software development and testing tools. Examples include compilers, linkers, debuggers, data analysis tools, graphical user interface builders, post processing tools, and requirements management tools
Experience in Mission Systems or avionics development and integration
Experience with open architecture constructs like Open Mission Systems (OMS), Open Communication Standard (OCS); utilizing the Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI)
Knowledge of VxWorks and/or Linux host environments
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different technical backgrounds

Summary pay range for Associate: $86,700.00 - $117,300.00
Summary pay range for Experienced: $107,100.00 - $144,900.00.
Summary pay range for Senior: $127,500.00 - $172,500.00.
