Internship Duration: 20-29 hours per week, for 6 months

Compensation: $17-20/hr.

This role may offer a hybrid work mode once initial training is complete and depends on active projects, with a core requirement of three days a week on-site in our Addison office and the flexibility to work remotely on the other two days, with the option to work in-person on an as- needed basis.

We are seeking a motivated and meticulous Human Resources Intern to join our People Operations team. This internship is an exciting opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a fast- paced HR environment while contributing to projects that will have a direct impact on improving our employee lifecycle, onboarding, and talent development processes.

As an HR Intern, you will support a variety of projects across the department. Among other tasks, your work will include:

• Standardizing document naming conventions for files in employee folders in ADP
• Updating introductory sections in all job descriptions to reflect our refreshed brand and culture
• Assisting in rewriting and formatting offer letter templates
• Rewriting and formatting job descriptions and requisitions
• Developing behavioral interview guides and role-specific interview questions
• Designing and helping implement a new buddy system for new hires
• Creating a clear and engaging onboarding pamphlet for new employees
• Reviewing and recommending appropriate performance review training paths in our internal LMS, tailored by position level (e.g., team members, supervisors, managers, VPs)
• Researching and recommending leadership development programs within our LMS
• Reviewing and updating our onboarding and offboarding checklists for process improvement

• Recent Graduate or Student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and/or Google (Sheets)
• Familiarity with a Human Capital Management System preferred
• Experience with HRIS systems preferred
• Strong written communication and diligence
• Passion for creating positive employee experiences
• Organized, self-driven, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
• Creative thinker with an interest in HR strategy, talent development, or culture building

• Exposure to key HR functions and best practices
• Opportunities to contribute to company-wide process improvements
• Mentorship from experienced HR professionals
• Real-world experience working with internal tools and platforms
• A deeper understanding of recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
