Tasks
- Monitor and manage requests for landing gear components and standard parts
- Source components globally and obtain competitive quotes
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors
- Coordinate component overhauls with Engineering and Production
- Identify and initiate onboarding of new suppliers
- Place and track purchase orders for components before and during overhaul events
- Oversee supply chain until goods are received by the Warehouse
- Follow up on open orders to ensure timely delivery
- Proactively address delivery delays with suppliers
- Resolve invoice issues in coordination with Finance and Strategic teams
- Work with Warehouse to manage quarantined items
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and internal controls

Requirements
- A university degree in a relevant area (Logistics, Purchasing, or similar)
- Professional experience in material purchasing or technical background is a plus
- Experience in business negotiations is a plus
- Familiarity with material resource planning systems, preferably SAP is a plus
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team spirit and sense of responsibility
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to virtual teams
- A proactive mindset to generate new ideas and identify improvement opportunities
- Cultural competence
- Good analytical skills
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
