Summary
Provides services for the 531st and 532nd Commodities Maintenance Squadrons (CMMXS) at the 309th Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG), Depot On-Site Contract Augmentee Teams 5 (DOCAT5), Hill AFB, UT. Support includes the technical repair and overhaul of landing gear, fuel tanks, pylons, screw jacks, hydraulics,
and pneudraulics for the following platforms:
C-5, C-17, C-130, B-1B, B-2, B-52, KC-135, A-10, T-38, E-2, E-3, F-4, F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35, MH-53, and MH-60 in accordance with the Air Force technical directives, applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements.Material Expeditor supporting timely identification, movement, tracking, and accountability of materials required for repairing and overhauling C-5, C-17, C-130, B-1B, B-2, B-52, KC-135, A-10, T-38, E-2, E-3, F-4, F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35, MH-53, and MH-60 platforms.
Essential Functions
- Perform material control, requisitioning, receiving, expediting, and inventory management
- Requisition, receive, issue, inventory, and track aircraft parts and materials
- Prepare reports and documentation supporting maintenance operations
- Ensure compliance with FOD, safety, and quality programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Duties
- Perform material control, requisitioning, receiving, expediting, and inventory management in support of Depot “D” Level maintenance
- Requisition, receive, issue, inventory, and track aircraft parts and materials
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and directives
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems
- Document maintenance actions per AFI requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years aviation supply/material coordination experience
- Familiarity with Navy or DoD supply systems preferred
- Ability to meet SCA labor category 21040 requirements
- Must be able to work, day, swing or mid shift as required
- Depot “D” Level experience preferred
- Favorable Tier 3 Investigation if required and CAC required
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Requires sufficient manual dexterity and vision to use tools and inspect aircraft systems. Must be able to work in high-noise environments, wear required PPE, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
