Morson are exclusively looking for Skilled Fabricators for a leading aerospace company in Filton, Bristol.

4 days on site, 6 month rolling contract

19.40 ph (skilled, no stamp)
24.25 ph (weekday overtime, no stamp)
29.10 ph (weekend overtime, no stamp)

Stamps are usually achieved with three months and rates rise to :

20.19 ph (stamp)
25.24 ph (weekday overtime, no stamp)
30.29 ph (weekend overtime, stamp)

Job Description:
The use of hand, electrical and pneumatic tools and bending machines to shape, form and assemble metal products within drawing limits. Desired abilities to include (but not limited to):

• Use of jigs to assemble parts made from stainless steel, titanium or aluminium
• Fitting
• Swaging
• Measuring machinery and jigs
• Awareness of recognised quality process, i.e. ISO 9001, AS/EN9100, or similar

Qualifications:
A recognised and relevant apprenticeship or the equivalent NVQ standard.
Previous manufacturing experience in a factory environment would be desirable.

• Ability to understand technical drawings/limits.
• Self-motivated team player with good communication skills
