Job Title: A & P Mechanic
Job DescriptionAs an A & P Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing direct maintenance on mid and large cabin corporate jets. You will ensure all maintenance is conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and current Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), manufacturer’s data, drawings, specifications, and bulletins, or other approved technical data.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned and unplanned aircraft maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable technical data, FAA regulations, and company policies.
- Execute aircraft maintenance documentation in compliance with applicable CFRs, company policies, and maintenance manuals.
- Collaborate with quality control for required inspections.
- Tow and taxi aircraft and perform engine run-ups according to standard procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly hangar.
- Adhere to tool calibration and shelf-life policies.
- Promote a safe work environment.
- Perform all tasks with high quality and safety standards.
- Complete required training and maintain current certifications.
- Support team environment and AOG Team with potential weekend work.
- Perform routine inspections.
- Undertake other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills- 7+ years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance on medium to large cabin aircraft.
- Active A&P License in good standing.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with Corridor.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Accuracy in paperwork completion.
- Flexibility and quick response to issues.
- Familiarity with parts ordering and research.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to interpret Manufacturer Manuals.
- Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice.
- Effective communication skills in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of FAA Part 91, 135, and 145 operations.
- Understanding of safe working techniques and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of flight line operations and safety practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Possession of a valid Driver’s License.

- Strong verbal, written, and computer skills.

- Knowledge of aircraft common and special tools and test equipment.

Work Environment
You will work at an FAA-approved Part 145 Repair Station, serving the corporate and general aviation industries. The environment includes working with a variety of aircraft, such as Gulfstream, Cessna, Bombardier, and Lear, ranging from mid-size to large cabin. The AOG Go-Team operates globally, with headquarters in Southern Nevada and a satellite location in Bermuda Dunes, CA.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bermuda Dunes, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $49.00/hr.
