Job Title: Aircraft MechanicJob Description
We are seeking an experienced contractor to assist during the busy season with maintenance on aircrafts, primarily used by students at a flight school. Your expertise will ensure the aircrafts are safe and ready for frequent use during the summer months.
Responsibilities
- Conduct heavy and line maintenance on a variety of aircraft including Cessna, Piper Arrow, Diamond DA-40, and Piper Seminole.
- Perform repairs and ensure all aircraft are in optimal condition for flight.
- Utilize your strong understanding of fixed-wing piston mechanics to maintain aircraft performance.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and effective maintenance procedures.
Essential Skills- AME M1 license
- Minimum of 3 years as a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
- Proficiency in aircraft maintenance and repair
- Experience with Cessna, Piper Arrow, Diamond DA-40, and Piper Seminole aircraft

Work Environment
Work in a hanger located in the Waterloo Airport area. The shifts run from Sunday to Thursday, noon to 8:30 PM, providing a unique schedule that allows for a balanced work-life rhythm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr.
