Pay Rate: $41.88 an hour

Job Description
F/A-18 and F-35 Corrosion Maintenance Support (CMS) Program at MCAS Cherry Point NC. This is a long term job opportunity. Aircraft Mechanics will be responsible for performing Organizational Level Maintenance on F/A-18 and F-35 aircraft for the Marine Corps. Main focus will be preventative maintenance and corrosion control along with Low Observable systems maintenance for F-35 aircraft. Full list of duties include:
Performs routine aircraft maintenance functions
Must demonstrate an operational knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, engines and component parts
Operates aircraft towing equipment in towing operations
Maintains aircraft hydraulic systems
Must have knowledge of the proper use of hand tools in aircraft maintenance
Must be able to read and write, and interpret and comply with aircraft maintenance procedures, manuals, specifications, and directives, guides and forms used on the job
Corrosion Prevention and treatment
Performs preventive maintenance inspections on aircraft and aircraft systems and subsystems
Performs troubleshooting, repair, modifications, corrosion control and preservation of aircraft and aircraft systems and aircraft sub-systems.
Services ground support equipment. Performs preventive maintenance inspections on all ground support equipment
Uses blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and manufacturers’ drawings and sketches in the performance of assigned duties
Completes maintenance documentation accurately using OOMA, ALIS and required forms, as required by job assignment
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.88 - $41.88/hr.
