Hydraulic Inspector and Fitter

Job Description:

•tWorking to the production plan all hydraulic units and actuation will be covered.
•tThe production plan will demand various work-scopes to include test & repair, repair or overhaul
•tHydraulic units are tested on a rig to determine serviceability
•tServiceable units are inspected to be released back to service.
•tFailed test units require disassembly and subsequent inspection to return the unit to serviceability.
•tParts are sentenced as serviceable, scrap or requiring repair
•tPerforming minor rework such as hand salvage, blending damaged material, polishing may be required in conjunction with assessing parts/components for repair.
•tHydraulic units are fully assembled and tested to CMM & drawing maintenance data.
•tResponsibility and confidence to sign off and stamp ones own work for safe release back into service in line with all relevant build documentation.
•tFlexible to cover multiple technical disciplines.

Job Requirements:

•\t
•\tBasic computer skills are essential
•\tApprentice trained or equivalent qualifications.
•\tExperience in working with Inspection & Fitting on Aircraft Landing Gears and Components
•\tAbility to use precision measuring and test equipment
•\tDedicated, team player, decisive, target driven, skills flexible, positive attitude.
•\tGood communication
