Job Summary
* An Interior Installer is responsible for the removal, modification, and installation of aircraft interior components according to technical data, engineering drawings, and customer specifications. This role contributes significantly to the aesthetics, comfort, and functionality of aircraft cabins. Education and Experience Requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years of recent experience - Installation work on general aviation/corporate aircraft
* Experience with upholstery, sewing, and light custom fabrication is highly valued
* Must provide own tools
* Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals
* Proficiency with hand and power tools relevant to interior work Essential Job Functions
* Remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interiors, which may include items such as trim, carpet, sound proofing, light structure, cabinetry, panels, and other accessories
* Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with company procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs, and quality specifications
* Adhering to strict aviation safety standards, quality control procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), while ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry and company standards
* Troubleshooting and Repair:Identifying and addressing issues with interior components during installation or refurbishment
* Accurately documenting all work performed, including any deviations or issues
* Interpreting engineering drawings, installation instructions, and other technical documentation to ensure accurate and compliant work
