The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, facilities, grounds, and general building maintenance using a wide range of techniques and specialties. The pay range for this position is $20 - $28 per hour to start depending on qualifications and previous experience. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation, sick time and quarterly bonus based on earnings and company performance. Eligible for annual performance review for merit increases. Open Position - First Shift Hours
6:30 am - 3:00 pm (8-hour shift)
4:30 am - 3:00 pm (10-hour shift with overtime)
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair work to maintain, repair, and enhance building, facilities, grounds, machines, and equipment, requiring basic knowledge of general trade fundamentals to perform repairs and maintenance work.
- Responsible for maintaining the operation of the HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems at the facility. Fundamentals of PLC and general understanding of CNC operations, preventative maintenance, and ability to grow and develop further.
- Troubleshoot, and correct mechanical and electrical issues with equipment and facility.
- Ability to work with voltages up to 480V to include industrial wiring, service panels, busways, and machine controls.
- Make emergency repairs when necessary to offset excessive downtime and production delays.
- Work consistently to resolve cited safety issues in a timely manner.
- Observe and comply with safety precautions, utilizing extreme care on trouble shooting and repairs where high voltages are involved. Work from drawings, sketches, schematics, specifications, and instruction manuals. Use scale, square levels, miscellaneous power bench tools, wrenches, carpentry tools, electrical controls, timing devices, etc.
- Work with minimum supervision and performs these and other assignments as requested by supervisor and maintenance lead.

- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an industrial environment performing basic electrical and mechanical maintenance on equipment and the facility.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience of PLC, CNC, and plumbing preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Willing to work overtime during the week and weekends as needed.
- High Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
