Job Title: GSE Mechanic
Job DescriptionJoin our dynamic team in Ashburn, VA as a skilled GSE Mechanic. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of ground support equipment and maintenance tooling for our US customers. If you have a strong understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, and voltage testing, this position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills in a growing industry.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, test, calibrate, repair, document, and reassemble ground support equipment and maintenance tooling.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on various equipment.
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Utilize hand tools and other mechanical tools for equipment repair.
- Perform inspections, write work orders, and read manuals for maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills- 1+ years of experience in servicing machinery and equipment.
- Strong written communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in maintenance, inspection, and work order documentation.
- Proficiency with hydraulic systems and pneumatics.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Valid drivers license.

Work Environment
Work in a small shop environment with a team of five dedicated professionals. The standard working hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The role requires occasional travel to various customer sites across the US, and potentially abroad for training, ensuring a diverse and engaging work experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dulles, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
