Per Diem Split if over 50 miles from job
Seeking 7 Quality Inspectors in Tucson, AZ.
Must be comfortable with 12-hour shift work, which includes days / nights and weekends.
Work Schedule:
- 6:30AM – 7PM (Day shift)
- 6:30PM – 7AM (Night shift) (Company is on temp 4 days 12 hours shift) to meet customer demand.
- Compressed Panama Schedule, which is 3 days on, 4 days off, the 4 days on, 3 days off (3/4/4/3).
- MUST be able to work day OR night shift (12 hours)
- There is a front and back half to week.
- Front: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Every other Wednesday
- Back: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Wednesday
- Must be willing to convert to a permanent position; will not have a contractor Inspector for more than 6 months
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience performing aircraft inspections under FAR 145, 121, 135 or Military experience on commercial / military aircraft.
- CRJ airframe experience required.
- MRO / Heavy Maintenance experience required.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
- Have a working knowledge of special tooling and machinery used in detail inspection, as well as aircraft part fabrication process.
- Ability to calculate tolerances using specialty / calibrated measuring devices. Able to use and interpret a variety of precision measurement instruments and special tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.
- Must be able to pass hearing and vision tests.
