Our client, a premier provider of aviation maintenance services, is seeking experienced Structures Technicians to support ongoing aircraft maintenance and modification projects in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural repairs, modifications, and sheet metal work on corporate or commercial aircraft. This is a hands-on role working in a dynamic MRO environment where precision, quality, and safety are top priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform all phases of aircraft structural repair and modification work, including skin repair, frame replacement, and major alterations.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, SRMs, engineering documents, and technical manuals.
Fabricate and fit parts, doublers, and stiffeners using hand tools and shop equipment.
Conduct repairs on fuselage, wings, control surfaces, and other structural components.
Rivet installation (solid, blind, Hi-Loks, CherryMax, etc.) with precision and compliance to specifications.
Maintain accountability of tools and work area cleanliness in accordance with FAA and OSHA guidelines.
Document all maintenance actions in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.
Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to ensure compliance with technical data and safety protocols.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and standard operating practices.
Requirements Minimum of 2 years of hands-on structural repair experience on fixed-wing aircraft (corporate, commercial, or military).
Proficient in sheet metal fabrication, riveting, fastener installation, and aircraft repair techniques.
Ability to read and interpret aircraft blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
Familiar with FAA regulations, especially related to maintenance and repair of aircraft structures.
Must have own basic hand tools (etched and shadowed).
Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; A&P license a plus but not required.
