Job Summary:

In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

This position is for the Test Data Imaging Technician at the “Bike Shop”.
This role requires a strong understanding of video production combined with product testing and data collection.

• This position is an onsite full-time role.
• This position requires the ability to work quickly and efficiently in high stress environments and extreme climates.
• Travel is irregular from 25 up to 50 domestically & internationally.
• This position requires flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends

What You Will Do:

• Work with customers to assess field and lab test setups, providing recommendations for capturing visual testing data through various media formats. This includes but not limited to high-speed video cameras, high resolution still cameras, broadcast real-time cameras, scientific cameras, and audio equipment.
• Intricate and precision-focused setups of cameras for accurate data collection.
• Travel to various locations with necessary equipment to help successfully execute tests.
• Post-process and analyze media capture, providing data collection reports to customers.
• Support test personnel outside of typical job duties to help execute tests on time.
• Ability to communicate professionally at all levels of the organization including leadership, upper-level management in addition to working in a completely autonomous fashion with limited to no oversight.
   

Qualifications You Must Have: 

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience in video production.
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite workflow.
• Experience in high-speed camera operation.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience in engineering lab and/or field testing
• Strong interest in engineering research and development
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining various models of high-speed cameras and associated equipment
• Understanding of basic fundamental physics and math equations
• Strong understanding of videography & photography fundamentals
• Team player who can work well with others under stressful and highly dynamic setups while maintaining flexibility to changing conditions.
• Highly organized individual with a clean and efficient workflow and ability to archive and retrieve data collection resources.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

• This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
