- Minimum 5 years of aviation avionics maintenance experience
- Experience with MIL spec wiring and Coax, (Single stand, double and triple twisted pairs, Triax and Quadrax wires)
- Experience on Amphenol, Glenair, Coax connector termination and close up processes
- Proficiency in manufacturing-level maintenance procedures and processes
- Extensive training in maintenance testing and diagnostic routine designed for radio frequency and/or millimeter wave equipment
- Knowledge of FAA, military, and industry standards related to avionics systems
- Familiarity with aircraft wiring, including MIL-SPEC connectors and harnesses
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for avionics testing and repair
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration
- Active Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one
Preferred Qualifications and/or Experience:
- Electrical wiring fabrication and electronics experience including naval helicopter systems.
- Avionics/Electrician Certifications
- Past Quality Assurance or QAR experience
- IPC J-STD-001 solder certification
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and manipulate 50lbs independently when needed
- Must be able to climb ladders, if needed
- Position involves long periods of standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling on aircraft structure and around aircraft for maintenance functions
- Position may require use and/or exposure to solvents, RTVs, adhesives, solder, paints and glues
- FIT for Duty Physical may be required
- May require DOT and Respiratory Physicals
