Job Description
Financial Reporting & AnalysisLead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as MFRS, IFRS, and GAAP.
Prepare monthly group consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with local finance teams to ensure timely submission of financial reports for group reporting purposes.
Prepare reconciliation from sales collections to vendor payments, particularly with Online Travel Agents (OTAs).
Audit & External RelationsManage and coordinate external audits, ensuring all required documentation, reports, and processes are in place for a smooth audit process.
Serve as the key point of contact for external auditors, addressing queries and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
Process ImprovementContinuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes, financial systems, and internal controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Implement best practices and automation solutions to streamline financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
Internal Controls & ComplianceEstablish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
Conduct regular reviews to mitigate financial risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder CommunicationPrepare and deliver financial reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
Provide actionable financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Job RequirementsExperience:
Minimum 5 - 6 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting and consolidation.
Audit experience is a plus.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification i.e ACCA, CPA, ICAEW is a plus.
