Role Overview:
Purpose:
The FP&A Manager manages planning, analysis, and reporting for the overall component repair shop. The leader will support the CFO by enabling standard work and efficient financial processes. This role will provide strategic financial insights to the shop leadership team and support decision-making processes towards operational and financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis: Lead shop finance teams in executing planning and reporting cycles, delivering comprehensive financial reports with variance analysis, enhancing transparency and streamlining reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate financial positions with cross-functional teams, provide actionable insights for decisions, drive accountability on variances vs. plan and support operational actions to actively manage risks and opportunities
Operational Reviews and Consolidation: Own the consolidation and analysis of financial data for Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs) and Weekly Operating Reviews (WORs), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
Continuous Improvement Through FLIGHT DECK: Apply FLIGHT DECK methodologies to drive continuous improvement across all financial processes, fostering a lean and efficient operating model.
People leadership: Coach, guide and develop FP&A analysts with an endeavour to eliminate waste and focus team on higher value-added FP&A activities
Ideal Candidate
Required Qualifications
10-15 years’ finance experience previously gained in Aerospace Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/business
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
A clear thinker with proven record to plan, lead & execute while connecting the dots from operations
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of managing relationships within a complex matrix environment
Track record of process improvements and project management experience
Effective oral and written communication skills
Experience in the use of SAP, Hyperion, Alteryx and excel Knowledge and application of US GAAP
