Junior Forecasting Manager 

Based in BUD - Office 

Purpose of the position:

Contribute to manage and optimize capacity on Wizz Airs existing route network, deliver revenue forecast updates, and provide capacity-related recommendations to management..

Responsibilities:

• Provide regular revenue forecasts for assigned routes through in-depth analysis of spanet trends, demand fluctuations, and competitive landscape
• Responsible for demand planning, budgeting, forecasting, and managing the assigned portfolio of routes
• Contribute to the elaboration of the annual operating plan, through revenue budgeting.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Network and Pricing teams on projects related to new aircraft deployments, seasonal loadings, and business recommendations
• Continuously seeking improvements and developments in current tools and processes within the commercial planning area
• Perform ad-hoc business cases focused on strategic and financial analysis to improve commercial development
• Contribute to the deployment and implementation of new tools to improve budgeting and accuracy
• Review the performance on several KPIs against targets, collaborating with stakeholders and coordinating the application of strategic and corrective actions to improve profitability
• Collect, monitor, review and analyze data to identify areas of improvements, risks, and business trend changes
• Report weekly commercial performance to C-level executives, influencing key strategic decisions

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing, commercial planning strategy function, management consulting, or a similar analytically-driven role.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of core economic concepts and principles.
• Business mindset with the ability to synthesize information into actionable recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills (VBA or database management experience is a plus)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, or another numerical subject
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• Strong sense of business ownership and accountability for the assigned portfolio
• Highly motivated, proactive individual
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Effective teamwork and independent work skills
