Raytheon is seeking a Logistics Supervisor in our Nashua, NH facility.  The Logistics Supervisor provides daily oversight and direction, based on program priorities, to the respective logistics functional support personnel to ensure that material is processed in compliance with all facility and company policies, practices and procedures while meeting all programmatic requirements and directives.   Reports to the Logistics Manager

What You Will Do

  • Manage all warehouse logistics operations, leading and developing a team of associates
  • Supporting all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates, safety participant on the Safety Coordinator Team
  • Developing performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality
  • Meets logistics operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements
  • Partnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
  • Identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and lean tools
  • Communicating policies to associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency and taking corrective action when needed
  • Creating, managing, and supporting recognition and communication programs
  • Working with operations management to ensure that all logistics support personnel are properly trained, are knowledgeable of and comply with all facility polices, practices, and processes
  • Working with local program support teams, mission assurance and government property compliance to satisfy daily program requirements, expedite movements of parts, analyze inventory through aging reports, reconcile material use through work order processing and supports residual inventory disposition process
  • Work with property compliance to maintain a Government Property Control System
  • Analyze the proper distribution of program assets across remote storage operations
  • Ensuring general packaging stock supply levels are maintained
  • Monitoring and maintaining various process metrics to analyze productivity in support of all program support
  • Work closely with logistics functional groups and operations to balance internal personnel to support departmental ebbs and flows
  • Applies practical knowledge of interpreting requirements, specifications, directives, regulations and other related technical, contractual, or management documents pertinent to logistics
  • Exercises independent authority, with the knowledge/approval of the Operations Manager, in the full range of integrated logistics support management responsibilities to resolve problems and inconsistencies in supply, maintenance, manpower, and documentation, thus achieving adequate, cohesive, and economical support capability
  • Advocate customer issues for service performance and policy. Work with local program support personnel and Mission Assurance to ensure resolution is obtained by directly solving issue or staffing issues and oversee progress until problem is resolved.
  • Provides primary input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports.

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and 3 years or relevant experience.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Production, Manufacturing and/or Warehouse.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Understand basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution
  • Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
  • Team management or leadership experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to create an accountable team environment
  • Extremely organized with the ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of Automated Logistics Computer System (ALCS), SAP, PRISM
  • Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
