Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level M) to lead the MQ-25 Final Assembly & Ramp team on 1st shift in Mascoutah, Illinois.
This Senior Manager will report to the Director of MQ-25 Manufacturing & Safety, and will be responsible for the People, Safety, Quality, Compliance, Delivery, Cost & Innovation performance while delivering product to our internal Boeing Programs.
The selected candidate will interact with the cross-functional production support team, operations, executive leadership, and regulatory agencies.
This position requires strong leadership and people skills, the ability to problem solve, proactively identify issues, and develop and communicate action plans.

Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
- Provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading various teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
- 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, assembly and/or aerospace environment
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
- 3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
- Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in a final assembly or airplane manufacturing role
- 3+ years of experience in using Lean principles
- 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS).
- 3+ years of experience coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
- 3+ years advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or higher

Summary pay range: $153,850 – $208,150 USD
