What YOU will do:

  • Provide day-to-day application administration and maintenance of core ERP systems
  • Coordinate development resources both internal and external to further the effectiveness of commercial enterprise systems, middleware and ETL systems in supporting business processes
  • Manage vendor support relationships and identifies and evaluate vendor adherence to SLAs, cost, and performance expectations
  • Proactively review business functions, processes, and workflows to identify solutions and opportunities which could improve business performance and efficiencies by leveraging or customizing software
  • Identify new opportunities for improvement based on changes in business requirements, processes, or technologies
  • Responsible for managing enterprise application upgrades, module additions, rollout plans, and ensuring continuous uptime
  • Provide insightful reports and data analytics support to stakeholders
  • Document business requirements, business cases, processes, and training material
  • Develop business process/workflow models for core business and technology processes
  • Provide support and development to staff on business applications and processes
  • Handle occasional after-hours work and occasional emergency call outs 
  • This is a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite)

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor of Commerce or other related field combined with a minimum of five years experience in a similar role 
  • Experience and exposure to project methodologies and documents (e.g., Project Schedules, Test Cases, etc.) 
  • Demonstrated experience managing a range of enterprise-level systems 
  • Strong business acumen and previous experience in business processes reengineering
  • Knowledge and experience with Enterprise Software Solutions such as SAP R3
  • Strong understanding of relational database systems, SQL, and data analytics 
  • Extensive experience in leveraging ETL technology to combine divergent datasets 
  • Business intelligence and reporting capabilities are a definite asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong relationship management, communication, negotiation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach and positive mindset combined with a customer-orientation
