Summary
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements by analyzing data on operational performance and conducting regular reviews with relevant departments;- Develop and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing costs;- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes or technologies into existing systems;- Manage vendor relationships related to operational performance and optimization projects;- Lead training programs designed to upskill staff members in optimizing operations and implementing best practices;- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes impacting operational performance and adjust strategies accordingly;- Conduct audits periodically to assess adherence to established standards and identify areas for enhancement;- Coordinate special projects as assigned by senior management.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field;- At least 5 years of experience in airline operations or a similar industry;- Strong knowledge of aircraft safety procedures and regulations;- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;- Experience managing people and projects;- Ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure;- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Google Suite tools;- Demonstrated problem solving ability using analytical tools such as Six Sigma/Lean methodology;- Understanding of workforce analytics and crew resource management principles;- Knowledge of union management and group problem solving techniques;- Familiarity with flight data analysis and fatigue risk management;- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
