Collins Aerospace has an opportunity for NDT Level 3 Supervisor who monitors and supervises a group of employees to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a specialized inspection role, NDT Technician to Perform Ultrasonics Level III, Mag Particle/Penetrant Level III, Hardness Testing, and Radiographic Testing Level III.
Position is 100 Onsite at Miami Facility
Work Shift : 1st Shift (Monday - Friday)
What You Will Do:
Supervise shopfloor employees (NDT inspectors). Including timecards, absence management, etc.
Lead the quality technical team in ensuring product and process compliance by providing guidance and direction with regards to quality systems and requirements.
Coordinate support to operations (work closely with operations supervisors) to meet financial and delivery commitments.
Define and enforce the /NDT Inspection role in the QMS, develop and administer NDT inspector training programs (including cross training).
Expected to define, refine, and continuously improve these and other owned processes.
Fostering and cultivating a quality forward culture.
Supervises execution of plans, guidelines, policies, and processes, to ensure the achievement of quality targets.
Supervises elements of organization projects or processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
Supervises quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.
Supervises the collection and analysis of quality information for use in the development of quality strategy and programs.
Reviews production processes, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement
Drive a culture of continuous improvement using ACE tools (Standard Work, DIVE, proofing, etc.) to implement change.
Lead the implementation of new inspection technologies that achieve process, reliability, and productivity improvements.
Qualifications We Require:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Holding Level 2 or Level 3 certification in NDT method.
5-10 years of NDI experience and Quality background in an overhaul shop environment
Experience in setting up and calibrating testing equipment, conducting material tests, interpreting results, and generating reports on your findings
Experience in interfacing with all levels of management and external customers.
Continuous improvement, i.e. ACE, Lean, Six Sigma
Cross-functional leadership experience
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience in Blueprint, drawings and routing reading and comprehension
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
An understanding of Aerospace Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems, AS9110 and Regulatory Agency Requirements.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
