The “NX CAM Technical Leader” will be the functional and technical expert for NX CAM programming that creates best practices, mentors and guides user community

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document and maintain best practices, templates and programming standards for Siemens NX CAM to ensure consistent, efficient and high-quality toolpaths
  • Create and validate advanced machining strategies
  • Stay up to date with latest NX CAM releases and Siemens documentation
  • Mentor CNC programmers and manufacturing engineers on NX CAM usage
  • Collaborate with internal CNC digital kit development and training teams
  • Creating “How to” documents
  • Work in a highly dynamic, collaborative, and global team environment
  • Coordinate several concurrent projects
  • Approximately 10-25 travel

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or with a minimum of 3 years of experience in NX CAM software including complex multi-axis toolpath generation
  • Understanding of CNC machining processes (Milling and Turning)
  • Understanding of CNC machines.
  • Familiarity with NX CAD.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years in NX CAM software including complex multi-axis toolpath generation
  • Deep understanding of CNC machining processes (3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis milling, turning, multi-task machining) and machine tool capabilities
  • Experience with toolpath simulation within NX CAM and/or third-party simulation tools (e.g. Vericut, NC Simul)
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machines and processes.
  • Able to create required tooling design and manufacturing models in NX CAD.
  • Familiarity with multiple machine tool controllers (Siemens, Fanuc, Okuma)

The base pay range for this position is 98,300-163,800 Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.  This posting is expected to close on July 1, 2025.
