Responsible for leading a team of contract workers supporting critical applications and related data processing platforms and services. Ensure the team has the facilities, tools, resources and skills they need to deliver on commitments while tracking ongoing execution and delivery of Application Operations delivery SLAs. Operational owner maintaining incident management, change controls, and support coverage.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Define, document, organize and implement application operations standard work to support custom workflows developed in Palantir Foundry in support of the Production System HK

Establish monitoring and alerting capabilities to identify exception cases and job failures

Collaborate with various stakeholders, influencing decisions to align to customer goalsUse deep expertise and experience in Operations, Applications, Client Services, Network and Data Center to manage multiple concurrent projects forming a program strategyAbility to lead day-to-day IT operation issues, drive support team to resolution. Be focal person to support our customers needsActs as a central escalation point for highly critical and/or highly impactful user application outages and incidentsDrive changes to organization strategy, operational processes & frameworks line with overall business goalsDemonstrates mastery of the intricacies of interactions and dynamics in Agile teamsLeadership and mentoring of IT program managers, business partners and vendors to establish a sustainable and effective operating frameworkManage any IT vendors and coordinate with the global team on standards, initiatives and customer escalationsDevelop and track comprehensive project plans, perform risk mitigation, issue resolution and manage execution coordinating with GE program, support, architecture, implementation teams and other third-party providersEnsure conformance to all applicable GE standards policies and guidelinesOperational reporting/communication, reviews/formulation of corrective actions working directly with stakeholdersExecutes programs to monitor Application platform and service progress via effective information dashboards for operational metrics, defect, quality, change control, and complianceLeverage domain expertise to further knowledge and improve productivity of colleagues supporting a continuous learning cultureEnsure that expectations are met and ensure high customer satisfaction levels through established performance metricsCreate a culture of customer focus and high performance to drive innovation through continuous customer engagement to facilitate appropriate applications technology and services

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience Data Engineering or Data Analyst experience, data related operations experience and SQL and Python coding experience

Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Technical Qualifications:

SQL and Python coding experience - Palantir development is done using Python and database operations use PySpark
