  • Serve as the primary point of contact for transportation-related audits and ensure the team’s readiness for inspections and compliance evaluations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment by driving continuous improvements in workspace layout and design.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support an efficient, safe, and productive work environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • APICS certification such as CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and build effective teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards, including DOT, 49 CFR, and IATA.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including second shift and weekends, as required to support operational needs.
  • Strong commitment to meeting deadlines, maintaining accountability, and communicating operational changes or challenges proactively to leadership.
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies; Green or Black Belt certification is a strong plus.
  • Previous experience in aerospace, aviation, or automotive manufacturing environments, with a solid understanding of the logistical demands and compliance requirements in high-performance industries.
