Job Description:

The Components Performance Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving operational performance within the Component organization. This role ensures efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service reliability by interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying performance gaps, and supporting data-driven decisions to enhance productivity, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction.

Job duties and Responsibilities 

  1. Collect, validate, and analyze performance data related to component repairs, TAT (Turnaround Time), workflow efficiency, and cost drivers.
  2. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to measure shop performance and forecast trends.
  3. Identify process bottlenecks and propose corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and resource utilization.
  4. Support capacity planning and workload balancing using data insights.
  5. Track vendor and internal shop performance against established SLAs, quality, and delivery targets.
  6. Prepare periodic performance review presentations for management and customers.
  7. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to evaluate process changes and improvement initiatives.
  8. Support the implementation and monitoring of Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
  9. Ensure data accuracy, report standardization, and adherence to MRO documentation and performance reporting guidelines.
  10. Conduct root cause analyses on performance deviations and recommend preventive actions.
  11. Develop and update procedures that define the standards of the component business.
  12. Maintain information updated into platforms and systems related to the business standards.
  13. Perform the customer evaluation survey periodically and its summary report for internal analysis.

Decisions made by this role, that, do not require approval. (This does not bypass the need for communication)  

  1. Defining reporting structures, dashboards, and analytical methods used for internal reporting.
  2. Prioritizing data collection and analysis tasks based on operational priorities.
  3. Communicating operational insights, alerts, and performance trends to internal stakeholders
  4. Recommending immediate corrective measures for data accuracy and process monitoring.
  5. Coordinating directly with departments to obtain or validate operational data.

Decisions that will require approval. (Proposals)  

  1. Implementation of process changes or workflow redesigns affecting multiple departments.
  2. Definition or modification of key performance targets and metrics (KPIs).
  3. Allocation of resources, budget changes, or technology investments.
  4. Approval of performance improvement projects with cost or schedule impact.
  5. External communication or reporting to customers, vendors, or regulatory bodies.

Academic Requirements

Business or Engineering - Required

Master’s degree – MBA or similar - Desirable

Lean Six Sigma Certification - Desirable
