Job Title: Technician
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Technician with experience in reading and accurately interpreting shop blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications. The role involves using precision measuring instruments and powered hand tools to ensure high-quality aerospace manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Read and accurately interpret shop blueprints, technical drawings, and customer specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers.
- Operate powered electric and pneumatic hand tools such as grinders or sanders.
- Remove burrs, blend, and polish surfaces using grinders and similar tools.
- Perform work in compliance with prints and written specifications.
- Select appropriate methods and tools to comply with specifications.
- Operate tumblers and handle loading and unloading of tumbler hoppers.
Essential Skills- Experience in reading shop blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
- Experience with powered hand tools such as grinders or sanders.
- Ability to perform repeated tasks with acute attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Aerospace manufacturing experience is advantageous.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 1 – 50 lbs frequently.
- Capability to squat, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing environment where you may be exposed to loud noises and machinery with moving parts. The work environment temperature ranges between 55 – 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The position requires wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing. The work schedule is a day shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
