Position Summary
Set up, maintain and operate cell equipment including, but not limited to, grinders including surface –flow edge grinders; honing machines both automatic or manual feed; EDM operation; flow grinding gaging apparatus; miscellaneous Dyval component machining/assembly operations as required.

- Position requires knowledge of all cell operations that include gaging, grinding and honing.
- Duties will sometimes require independent troubleshooting and judgment in the adaption of existing methods, techniques or procedures to meet related requirements or technical decisions.
- Commitment to quality required to assure parts are clean, fully deburred and undamaged.
- Blueprint reading and a use of a variety of inspection tools required.
- Maintain precision tolerances as specified by process.
- Honing, grinding and EDM operational requirements may not be limited to the Servo cell, based on need.
- Other tasks or qualities include instruction of less qualified operators in set up and operation and must be able to perform in a team environment.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Maintains the highest degree of quality, quantity, throughput, safety, cost reduction and customer service continuously.
- Performs these duties and others as requested.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 3+ Years of experience running honing machines.
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalent.
