✨ Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a visible, strategic role in shaping organizational culture and advancing the HR function. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to management and a trusted resource for employees, supporting a wide range of people matters with empathy, sound judgment, and confidence.
The ideal candidate brings strong business partnering experience and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach. You are adaptable, quick to assess changing needs, and comfortable navigating ambiguity while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
🛠️ What You’ll Do:
- Partner closely with managers to understand business needs and translate them into people-related strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach, providing expert guidance on complex employee relations, effectiveness, and organizational dynamics.
- Lead talent strategies including workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, performance management, and recruitment support.
- Drive organizational effectiveness by identifying opportunities to enhance structures, processes, and team performance within assigned client groups.
- Provide direct support to employees and managers across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, offboarding, leave of absence and day-to-day people matters, ensuring accurate documentation, timely coordination, and a consistent employee experience.
- Ensure HR policies, programs, and practices are applied consistently and in compliance with employment legislation, internal standards, and best practices, while maintaining accurate and confidential documentation.
- Collaborate with our HR team to enhance programs, policies, and processes that support organizational goals and a strong employee experience.
🎯 What You Bring:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience;
- Aviation experience is an asset.
- Proven experience across core HR functions, including full-cycle recruitment, performance management, employee relations, HR administration, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR frameworks, and best business practices, with the ability to apply them in a practical, solutions-oriented manner.
- Solid problem-solving skills, with a results-driven and continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Highly effective communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and advise stakeholders at all levels.
- Adaptability and sound organizational skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems, with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decision-making.

This role is prominently in-office, based at our Head Office at Toronto Pearson Airport.
