The Area Trainer position will be a key role in facilitating the operations training program, thus, overall quality of product in their respective area. This includes training tracking, practical facilitation, assistance with yield initiatives and serving as a focal for technical knowledge of their area. Roles and Responsibilities:
Parner with Master Trainer to develop to develop and manage the area operations training program
Organize electronic training logs and files in a format/ location consistent with Master Trainer directives
Responsible for developing and delivering training material to operators with input from key resources
Partner with Team Leads to develop training plans for new and existing operators
Continuous tracking of the site training matrix and communication with management and training team of areas of stability or improvement
Support new hire training as needed
Facilitate and sign off technician area training assessments
Continuous communication with Master Trainer, Team Leads and Training Specialist
Provide feedback as process changes require training updates
Support or lead continuous improvement of process instructions and training methods
Assist auditors during Government and Institutional audits for training verification
Assist in implementation of new processes and lean initiatives
Additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED
3-year chemical operations experience
Demonstrated proficiency in managing electronic files and working within IT infrastructure.
Must be available 8am-6pm (Monday-Thursday)

At least 2 years of experience in PSM covered chemical manufacturing
Knowledgeable in assigned training area or committed to learning area technical requirements early in the role
Prior experience with Quality Management System (ISO9001/AS9100)
