NC Programmer

24.78 - 33.24 per hour

Morson are currently recruiting for multiple NC Programmer vacancies to support Aerospace manufacturing projects. Providing support to various platforms across the business we are looking for knowledge in up-to-date machining principles using current CADCAM systems.

The roles are 6-month contracts with opportunities for extension or permanent conversion. You would be expected to be full time on site in either Samlesbury or Warton. We can pay an hourly rate of 24.78 per hour PAYE or 33.24 per hour Umbrella Inside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Carry out modifications & improvements to Hard & Soft metal NC programs
• Create new NC and/or CMM programs for Hard & Soft metal components.
• Ensure programs are in line with required build quality and timeframe.
• Liase with shopfloor to ensure collaboration on requirements or issues.
• Provide Build Line Support and rectification for tape prove activities for any new or modified programs delivered.

Requirements

• Experience in machining principles
• Use current CAD/CAM systems.
• Have a good understanding of design for manufacture, dimensional management and process planning.
• Have recent experience of CATIA V5.
• Experience of Siemens NX, Catia V4, Valisys and other packages such as Autodesk Powermill / Powershape or equivalent would be advantageous as well as experience of simulation systems such as CGTECH Vericut (V8).

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
