- To support the Security Officer to ensure the security of Airport, Aircraft and Cargo operations within the UAE, adhering to national and international standards.
- To oversee and ensure the effective implementation of security measures at Airport, Aircraft and Cargo operations.
- To supervise, organize and coordinate security activities to maintain the safety and protection of passengers and aircraft, cargo, staff, and airport facilities in compliance with regulatory standards and security protocols.
- To monitor, control, and report operational activities at the Hub.
In this role, you will…
Ensure that specific tasks are carried out at the Airport, Aircraft, and Cargo facilities in line with the organisational protocol, policies, and programmes.
Ensure that security services provided to Emirates and Other Airlines – OAL, at the boarding gate, aircraft (below and above the wing) and cargo facilities are properly supervised, any security related issues are proficiently resolved.
Oversee and supervise the EK Lost & Found items operations. Ensure that all items are well protected, logged, transferred, and dispatched to the owner efficiently without any delay and complaint.
To respond to security incidents or breaches and lead the resolution process, including liaising with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
To conduct investigations into security incidents at the Hub Ops and prepare detailed reports. Ensure all incidents are properly logged and escalated where required.
To work closely with airline representatives, airport authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated security approach.
To conduct regular briefings and debriefings with Hub Ops security staff to ensure awareness of procedures and any potential threats.
QualificationTo be considered for the role, you must meet thebelow requirements…
- 12 Years schooling or equivalent
- 3+ years in security (Aviation)
- Professional/academic qualifications in Aviation Security (AVSEC).
- Experience within aviation security including Airport, Aircraft & Cargo security.
- Good Supervisory skills. Ability to write reports in a comprehensive manner and computer literate is a must
