JOB DESCRIPTION:
YOUR ROLE AS AN OFFICER, TECHNICAL RECORDS
As an Officer, Technical Records, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete technical records of aircraft, engines, APUs, landing gears, and components in line with regulatory and company requirements. Your role ensures the integrity of data in the Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering System (AMOS) and supports safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
Maintain all technical data and records in AMOS to ensure accuracy and completeness for aircraft, engines, APUs, landing gears, and components.
Entertain and resolve daily requests, inquiries, and issues from the Engineering Department.
Verify and monitor the accuracy of flying hours, cycles, and component data entered by maintenance personnel.
Safely archive aircraft and component maintenance records for secure storage and retrieval.
Ensure logbooks and documents are complete and properly maintained for Certificate of Airworthiness renewal.
Organize and maintain completed work documents for easy access.
Create and update airframe, engine, and APU logbooks for new and existing aircraft in accordance with procedures.
Update aircraft, engine, APU, landing gear, and component records based on source documents (check packages, Engineering Instructions, Inspection Cards).
Regularly update aircraft, engine, and APU hours and cycles.
Monitor and ensure sufficient stock of aircraft technical documents and logbooks.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, or a related field.
Knowledge of civil aviation regulations and technical record-keeping requirements.
Proficient in aircraft maintenance systems, preferably AMOS or similar.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage documentation systematically for quick retrieval and compliance.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to handle daily operational challenges.
Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality in handling technical records.
