Morson Talent are working closely with a leading aerospace and defence composite business looking for multipule Composite Paint Sprayers to join our team. The business is growing at a rapid rate, have recently won some major aerospace & defence contracts and have investment pouring in from their new owners
The purpose of the role is to ensure that the customer receives a high-quality product in line with process and product specification. The role will support all stages of the manufacturing process where appropriate but will primarily be focused on preparing and painting products in accordance with health and safety regulations and process instructions.
ACCOUNTABILITY
The role is accountable for the final finish of products before delivery to customers.

Responsibilities:
- Safety – to use and maintain tools and equipment safely and in line COSHH with instructions
- Quality – to produce product to the required standard and to complete accurately and timely all documentation associated with the manufacturing process.
- Cost – to work in line with standard hours and avoid unnecessary waste, organise activities to maximise productivity
- Delivery – to work in accordance to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- People – to work in accordance with company values and support colleagues when needed

Tasks:
- To prepare products for paint ie degreasing, sanding, filling products using wide range of tools to ensure a quality paint finish.
- To mask products in readiness for painting.
- To mix paint in line with instructions, conducting associated tests where necessary
- To prepare test samples
- To use various techniques to apply paint of all types.
- To complete job cards and other documentation accurately and timely
- To follow appropriate instructions and diagrams.
- To communicate with other areas to share any issues and contribute to the smooth running of production.
