Some of the responsibilities include:- Develop, implement and track sales strategies and the spaneting plan to optimize QR revenue and presence in the UK spanet. - Build and maintain strategic relationships with existing customers, and prospect potential clients- Monitor industry trends and utilise spanet intelligence on customers and competitors to identify opportunities and threats. - Effective spaneting of QR Cargo range of products and services.- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management- Negotiate short, medium and long-term pricing initiatives to mutual benefit which are consistent with the region’s revenue goals and pricing guidelines.- Evaluate and improve the team’s objectives, plans, procedures and practices. - Work closely with internal stakeholders to collaboratively deal with challenges and provide high quality service- Provide regular reports on sales performance and spanet insights to the management team. - Steer a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.- Leading Quarterly Business Reviews with key customers- Develop and mentor direct reports, ensuring succession planning is in place.
About you- Minimum of Bachelor / University level or equivalent level with relevant experience within air cargo/ airfreight industry- Strong knowledge of cargo commercial and operations- Strong sales, negotiation and spaneting skills- Excellent presentation and communication skills- Ability to work with data, drive digitization and innovation, promotes change management - Confidence to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment- Fluency in written and spoken English- Have the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom- Have proven track record of managing a medium sized team.
