Role Introduction
Reports to: Digital Sales Manager
The Digital Sales Specialist will participate in the conceptualisation, design, execution and measuremnet of all direct sales activities in HK spanet. He/she will be driving business towards our direct digital channel, creating a direct relationship with our customers and driving commercial value from partnerships..
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute in direct sales activities/campaigns planning, design and execution, participate in projects/ initiatives which helps to drive direct sales
- Responsible for homepage content management, including landing pages and homepage banners
- Work with Business Development Team on online fare loading and monitor pricing accuracy.
- Manage regular and ad-hoc broadcast of e-Newsletters to target segments in Hong Kong using Marketing Cloud
- Compile direct sales report and evaluate sales campaign result through website metrics and sales result.
- Monitor trends related to online business, competitors’ moves and review spanet analyses to understand customer needs
Requirements
- Tertiary educated with 2-3 years of relevant working experiences in digital sales, digital spaneting or eCommerce. Experience with airline or hospitality industry a definite advantage
- Commercial acumen with sound communication skills
- Good understanding of ecommerce and digital spaneting, including Marketing Cloud, SEO, SEM, analytics tool (e.g. Alteryx, Qliksense, Google Analytics, Adobe analytics), and programmatic displays
- The ability to understand and contribute to the development of promotion plans in line with commercial and strategic objectives
