Position Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of all Overland Park functions and Senior Management ensuring timely and efficient completion of administrative responsibilities. Provides office support, EHS support and facilities/campus support for all Senior Management and related departments. Proactively works with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance functions ensuring accurate and timely response for customer additions/changes/merges and tax-exempt certificate process ensuring customer needs are met or exceeded. Office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend day(s) may be required. This role is an in-office position in Overland Park, KS. Reports to Division Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Customer Add, Merge, and Modification process with follow up
- Enters Tax Exempt certificates & follows process with follow up
- Engaged in High Performance Team(s)
- Reception for Phone Calls directing to correct business & team member
- Handles EHS good catches and executes needed action to close
- Safety Liaison for office, communicating any &/or reminding office team members of Campus or Parker Safety Policies. Helps with Safety Audits.
- Orders Office Supply (US471) and stores using 5S methods.
- Manages Bag Test Process For Sales team
- Handles Badging Process
- Handles deliveries/shipments/mail for office
- Stock Breakroom Supplies and Maintain Copiers
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Business, Office Management, or related field with a minimum of 1 year experience or at least 3 years of experience with a High School Diploma.
- Experience with ERP & CRM systems.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems. Comfortable speaking with all levels of the organization and customers.
- Ability to Multi-task, prioritize, and organize
- Maintains confidentiality for business sensitive needs
- Demonstrates a positive attitude toward team members and rapidly changing environment
- Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of basic office equipment
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to attend work in the office
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Office Management, or related field
- Work experience of 5+ years in Administrative Support function
- Experience with Oracle, Salesforce, DNBi, Tax Exemption Certificates experience in Sabrix, Ariba
