The selected candidate will provide specialized technical expertise supporting the development of technical manuals and procedures for Special Operations Aviation Aircraft; including A/MH-6, MH-60M, and MH-47G aircraft. Primary focus areas include Advanced Aircraft Survivability Equipment (AASE) and Mission Equipment.
This role requires exceptional communication skills to effectively interface and coordinate between multiple stakeholders, including the user community, Program/Product Management teams, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and external contractors. The ideal candidate will bridge technical documentation needs across these groups to ensure accurate, comprehensive, and user-focused technical publications.

Responsibilities: (Not all encompassing)
- Review, critique and edit material for content, accuracy, and grammar on a wide variety of Special Operations AASE and Mission equipment
- Direct involvement with the tabletop review and on aircraft verification of removal, installation, repair, troubleshooting, and inspection tasks
- May require limited domestic travel
- Perform in-depth research to support content change and development.
- Responsible for ensuring all material conforms to established standards and specifications
- Review and analyze existing technical documentation e.g. vendor manuals, engineering drawings, and maintenance messages for implementation into technical publications
- Verify and track Publication Change Requests
Specific Skill Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Special Operations Aviation AASE and Mission Equipment
- SOA Technical Inspector / Quality Assurance Representative experience preferred
- Must have excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently with little supervision
- Possess a Secret Clearance or ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance
